About Morgan & Flynn
At Morgan & Flynn Architectural Services, we believe every building tells a story - and we're here to help you write yours. Founded in 2017 and rooted in the heart of Llanrhystud, our small but passionate practice brings thoughtful design to Ceredigion and its neighbouring counties. From characterful barn conversions and bespoke new homes to breathing life back into abandoned dwellings and helping farms or businesses grow, no two projects are ever the same - and that’s exactly how we like it. Whether you're dreaming of a quiet countryside retreat, planning a commercial expansion, or navigating rural diversification, we're here with creative solutions, meticulous attention to detail, and honest advice. Let’s bring your vision to life - get in touch, we’d love to hear your ideas.
Director
Gareth
Gareth earned a BSc (Hons) in Architectural Design and Technology, along with a National Diploma in Construction, from Pembrokeshire College in 2011. He has since built his expertise by working with various firms across the Mid Wales region, as well as collaborating closely with his uncle, Ceredig. Gareth enjoys taking on a diverse range of projects, each uniquely shaped by the landscape and character of Ceredigion.
His passion for architecture began at a young age, inspired by time spent observing and sketching alongside his uncle. In 2017, Gareth and Ceredig co-founded what is now known as Morgan & Flynn Architectural Services.
Outside of his professional life, Gareth has represented the Scarlets and Wales at junior rugby level and played more locally for Aberystwyth and Aberaeron. He also takes an annual ski trip with his family - an opportunity to unwind, enjoy the slopes, and soak in breathtaking alpine views.

Huw
Huw joined the business in February 2020, since graduating with a BSc Honours degree in Architectural Design & Technology from Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2018. During this time, he gained knowledge about numerous construction techniques and architectural forms, whilst also obtaining information from industry professionals in the architectural field. Huw has always been extremely enthusiastic about Architecture, with this passion varying from classical renaissance architecture all the way to minimalistic modern facades. This interest is particularly explored when he ventures out on his trips to the Mediterranean sunshine during the summer months, with this being his favourite pastime. In his spare time, he is a keen football player and has played for local teams since a young age to present. In addition to this, he also enjoys other activities such as cycling, going to the gym and recently taken up golf.

Office Manager
Vanessa
Vanessa joined Morgan and Flynn in June 2025, bringing with her a wealth of experience, energy, and warmth. As Office Manager, she’s the calm behind the scenes - keeping things ticking smoothly, supporting the team, and helping Gareth in the family business stay aligned with their long-term vision. With over 30 years in hospitality and 15 years as the owner of a successful wedding venue, Vanessa understands what it takes to run a people-first business. Her journey with Morgan and Flynn began - first as a client. Vanessa and her husband took on a renovation project with a property in need of serious love. With help from Gareth and the team navigating the planning process, she spent two years transforming a ruin into a beautiful two-bedroom Welsh stone cottage - her dream home. Having lived through a full renovation, Vanessa brings empathy, real-life experience, and a sharp eye for detail to her role. She truly understands what it means to take on a project - and the rewards that come with seeing it through. Vanessa cherishes spending quality time with her family and especially enjoys fun days out with her two grandchildren. She is passionate about wellness and staying active, with a love for yoga, walking, and sea swimming. Vanessa also finds joy in beach days and embracing the great outdoors.
